Our nearly 100 person strong outfit is equipped with every degree of skill, tools, and equipment of the trade allowing us to deliver the absolute best product for our customer. We specialize in commercial and industrial concrete work, more specifically, slabs, parking lots, tilt wall building construction, and heavy machine foundations. To complement our concrete work, and more importantly, reduce the number of sub-contractors our customers have to manage, we have included to our list of services storm drainage installation and all matters of site work, from clearing and grubbing to fine grading and shaping. We stay abreast of all city codes and have good working relationships with most inspectors in the greater Houston area. We are licensed storm drainage installers and ACI certified in foundation construction. T & T Construction maintains all necessary workers compensation, general liability insurance, and has bonding available upon request. Certificate of insurance is also available upon request. Our services are requested frequently from engineers, owners, and general contractors alike. We pride ourselves on the amount of repeat business we receive from our customers, who, on a recurring basis have allowed us to annually construct no less than 50 metal building foundations over the last 7 years. We pride ourselves on punctual attendance, professional quality and competitive pricing. T & T Construction was officially started in 1975 as a reorganization of C.A. Taylor Construction by C.A. Taylor and Jeff Taylor, specializing in concrete construction. C.A. Taylor retired from the business in 1978 and son Jeff Taylor assumed control. C.A. Taylor was the driving force in getting T & T started with his innate skill for selling work and completing projects. Jeff Taylor learned the business from his father and enhanced the business by concentrating on quality craftsmanship and creating relationships with steady customers. C.A. Taylor remained active in retirement by being a valuable consultant to Jeff and a steady source of experience and common sense. The business grew steadily in the 80’s and 90’s despite hard times in the early 80’s. Retaining quality people was the key and developing a reputation for on-time service and attention to detail. Jeff’s son Ryan came to work in 1988 as a laborer but learned quickly from the experienced concrete tradesmen at T & T. He progressed through the ranks from helper to finisher, to foreman, to job superintendent, to project manager and trusted right hand to Jeff. Ryan took the controls of T & T in 2001 and promptly increased sales and broadened the company’s focuses to other areas, i.e., underground construction and earthwork. His vision is to make T & T a full service civil contractor. Jeff and Ryan became partners in the business in 2005 and both believe in keeping the business a family affair with a good reputation and great employees.
